Broadcasting operation

- Broadcasting time: 24 hours a day, all day broadcasting

- Frequency (transmission power/1KW): Gwangju: FM 98.7MHz /․Yeosu: FM 93.7MHz

- Contents of broadcasting: Domestic and regional news, music, entertainment, information provision, etc. (100% in English)

- Listening Target: Residents and visiting foreigners (Gwangju and Jeonnam), citizens who demand English broadcasting, etc.

(※ From October 1, 2013, 2 hours of Chinese broadcasting every day)

 

History of GFN

Global Gwangju Network(formerly Gwangju Foreign Language Network) provides diverse information on the region for foreign residents and aids in English education for both citizens and students using pure English, enhancing the lives and well-being of the people.
